History

Campo Alegre has its origins in a small family dairy plant that Mr. José Ochoa Lopez (RIP), established in late 1980 in a population of 2.000 inhabitants located in a small mountainous area of western Mexico.

This family creamery became the year of 1995 in Venice Creamery, SA de CV, which is the most recognizable and iconic company of the group, that over the years has been growing and developing until now have presence with our products in thirty states of Mexico country. This business is mainly focused on the production of dressing's foods as Ketchup, cheese and mayonnaise.

In 2002 the group grew buying Campo Alegre, SA. de CV. which is dedicated on the dairy products and flavored drinks business.

In 2008 our group establishes Plastisa, SA. de CV., which produce all plastic packaging for the own use of the first two companies.

In 2009 Campo Alegre have started the internationalization of the business group with the conformation of Campo Alegre Foods, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
